Bobby has always been good with people. His knack for relationship building has been the key to his success and has enabled him to establish life-long relationships with candidates and clients.
Taking a leap of faith and leaving the oil and gas industry, Bobby began his career in Office and Administrative solutions and quickly moved through staffing and sales. Bobby worked in various recruiting positions for over 10 years before joining the J2T team in April of 2007. An opportunity opened for him in 1998 to join an internationally recognized Accounting/Finance recruiting firm, where he was Rookie of the Year and Top Producer for Texas/Oklahoma in 2000. In 2002, he joined a small boutique firm and led recruiting and sales efforts for their accounting /finance division. Since joining J2T, Bobby continues to build relationships and help companies succeed by finding them the top talent in town.
Bobby grew up in El Paso, Texas, and moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1987, where he met his future wife at the University of Texas at Arlington. Married for 17 years, they have two children who keep them on the go. When he’s not matching great candidates to fantastic employers, Bobby enjoys competitive golf (is there any other kind?), fishing, a well-played round of poker, music and drums. On any given weekend, you might find him coaching one of his son’s sporting events, golfing with friends, enjoying time with family or watching Steelers football. (Steelers? It doesn’t make sense to us either.)
