  • BS Accounting | MS Accounting | CPA
  • 3+ years Big 4 Audit, 2 full seasons at Senior level
  • Public and private clients within Real Estate, Construction, Funds, Technology, Media & Telecom
  • Extraordinarily adept and mature communicator
  • Very technology proficient with expertise in Excel, Power BI & Alteryx
  • Target Compensation: $100K Base
  • Target Location: Central Denver – Hybrid preferred

Senior Accountant

  • MS in Accounting, 3+ of experience (including internship) in Big 4 public audit and industry accounting
  • Diverse client base with a focus on construction, large commercial real estate, and property management companies
  • Experience identifying a variety of potential audit issues in financial statements with detailed trend analysis
  • Hands-on general ledger, close and reporting experience in the industry
  • Consistent, professional communication across clients, management, and her teams
  • Ability to problem solve, research, and create solutions

Controller / Assistant Controller

  • CPA / Masters in Accounting, Bachelors in Finance
  • 6 years of combo Accounting experience
  • 3.5 years in Big 4 Audit - clients focused on Financial Services, Healthcare, and Software
  • 2.5 years of Accounting experience as Finance Manager with a boutique Investment Bank (2 entities) where he manages/owns all Accounting, Finance, Compliance and HR
  • Prepares financial statements, interfaces with auditors & tax accountants files financial statement reports with regulators
  • Experience implementing new billing & expense systems, advanced Excel skills, QuickBooks
  • Target Compensation: $145K Base

Director of Finance / FP&A

  • MBA in Finance & Corporate Finance, Bachelors in Economics
  • 12+ years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience
  • Currently, he is a Finance Director, where he manages a $240M P&L, oversees team 8 and focuses on full revenue analysis
  • Industries include Utilities, Tech, and Healthcare / Publicly-traded company & Privately held/PE-backed companies

KICK OFF

We provide an outlined agenda prior to our intake meeting so that all parties can come prepared and we make the most use of the call. These items could include industry challenges, target competitors, interview process, offer logistics and any other key items that would impact our search.  

At the onset, we set up a conference call with the key stakeholders and decision makers for this hire, along with our entire team. This allows our entire team to have direct and complete information from you, as well as the opportunity to immediately ask questions and collaborate on how we all succeed, with J2T as your closest ally in the acquisition process.

RECRUITMENT

The J2T Recruiting team utilizes a wide variety of recruiting tactics—the biggest being our own robust and very much alive accounting and finance network that we have crafted over 20+ years. Candidates like us, know us, and trust us. Our calls get returned.

We then have comprehensive, confidential conversations with these top individuals to vet their experience, culture nuances and fit as it relates to your organization, compensation requirements as well as current capacity and desire to make a calculated career change.  Candidates that meet the experience requirements then go through a detailed interview process in a myriad of platforms to get a sense of their ability to command a conversation, lead, follow and collaborate.

COMMUNICATION

Throughout the entire process, we remain in constant communication with both our hiring client and our candidates. We work closely with you to schedule all interviews, prepare both candidates and our hiring client with appropriate pre-interview materials, technology needs and immediately facilitate a thorough and detailed debrief with both the hiring client and candidates. This way we can instantly address any and all concerns, provide additional information, or redirect the search as needed. Reference checks are done early in the process and can be re-addressed for any specific reasons. Our lines of communication always remain open and we encourage you to reach out to ensure a smooth process.
